thumbnail_Sylwia NamrożyPolish violinist Sylwia Namroży is a student of Artist Master of Performance Program in The Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdansk. She graduated with honored bachelor of music from the Music Academy in Gdansk. Sylwia is performing mostly as member of Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra of Music Academy.

She is versatile musician and engages in performances of different styles of music. With her early music ensemble, Capella All’antico, she has gained a lot of awards on national and international festivals. Sylwia is also interested in performing contemporary music and playing with chamber ensembles in Gdansk. She developed her orchestral abilities during the projects with orchestras such as Lutoslawski Youth Orchestra, International Lutoslawski Youth Orchestra, Santander Orchestra and masterclasses with Turku Philharmonic Orchestra, when she was playing under batons of Lawrance Foster, Rune Bergman, Leif Segerstam and Julien Salemkour. She took part in Solidarity of Arts in 2017 while, together with SEPO, she performed Beethoven’s opera Fidelio.

She currently cooperates with Baabus Musicalis Music Theatre and works with children as a violin teacher.
