Miranda currently studies in London with Nelly Miricioiu and at the Royal College of Music Junior Department with Jean-Claude Ohms. She is a scholarship alumna of BUTI Young Artists’ Vocal Program 2022 and is proud to be a 2022/23 Drake Calleja Trust Junior Scholar (https://www.drakecallejatrust.org/scholars-2022-23). Over the past few months, Miranda has been a finalist in a number of prestigious competitions, most notably The Gordon Turner Prize 2023, the Royal College of Music; USA National YoungArts 2023; USA Schmidt Vocal Arts Competition, regionals 2022 (Most Promising Sophomore). She has benefited from masterclasses and coaching with Douglas Sumi, Matthew DiBattista, Maria Spacagna and James Gilchrist. In addition to singing, Miranda studies oboe, piano, classical guitar and conducting. Miranda’s studies are made possible through the very generous support of the Drake Calleja Trust, the Royal College of Music JD Bursary Fund (the Wolfson Foundation and the Saddlers’ Company), the Rokeby Trust and high school music scholarships.
