American Tenor, Matthew Maness, has been praised as a, ”tenor singing with expressive force and admirably clear diction,”and as possessing a “bright, well placed tenor,” by the South Florida Classical Review. Matthew has been seen and heard as a leading tenor in many professional Opera companies and leading Young artist programs in the United States and abroad, singing with a wide range of repertoire, from Concert performances, to the Operatic stages.
Recent highlights include performing in the Berlin Opera Academy’s production of “Die Fledermaus,” singing, as Alfred. Maness has also performed in the, “Broadway meets Opera”concert, in San Miguel de Allende Mexico, and has made many concert appearances in South Florida as the tenor soloist performing in Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana at the Shepard and Ruth K. Broad Center for the Performing Arts, The tenor Soloist in Orchestra Miami’s “Beethoven on the Beach.” The guest artist in Händel’s Messiah for Barry University. Matthew currently continues his studies with renowned voice teacher Jack Livigni where he takes his knowledge and experience and passes it on to a younger generation at the Miami Dance and Music Academy, at the Sociedad Actoral Hispanoamericana, and has a private studio teaching locally in Miami, and virtually all over the United States, and abroad.
