
Marion Germain obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Classical Voice Interpretation from the University of Montreal under the tutelage of internationally renowned tenor Richard Margison. Marion has also been taking lessons for five years with soprano Lyne Fortin. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at UdeM. Marion obtained the George Cédric-Ferguson scholarship in the Fall of 2021 and is also the recipient of several prizes totaling $1,400 as part of the Concours de la Relève Musicale du Québec. In the Fall of 2022, she also received the Louise Roy bursary ($4,000).
As part of MOSF 2022, she performed the roles of Gilda in Rigoletto (Verdi) and Mimì in La Bohème (Puccini). In the Winter of 2023, Marion took on the role of Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus by Strauss II at the University of Montreal.
Marion will interpret the role of Violetta Valéry in Verdi’s La traviata and will cover Lucia in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor (MOSF 2023).
