Lyric coloratura soprano Louise Frazier has led as Juliette in Gounod’s Romeo et Juliette, Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Violetta in Verdi’s La Traviata, Cecilia in the American premier of Nicholas Giusti’s L’importanza di essere Onesto, Lucia in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor, Gilda in Verdi’s Rigoletto, and most recently, Olympia in Offenbach’s Les Contes D’Hoffmann. Louise has studied voice privately with Metropolitan Opera singer Jennifer Welch-Babidge for eleven years. And for the last four years she has been a student of Dr. Issac Hurtado at Utah Valley University, where she is pursuing a degree in Vocal Performance.  She has participated in several prestigious young artist programs including the Festival Lyrique, in Belle ile en Mer, France. Utah Vocal Arts Academy in the  USA, and the Mediterranean Opera Studio and Festival in Sicily, Italy, which she will return to this year as Violetta in La Traviata.
