Currently completing a Master of Opera Voice at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the guidance of Rowena Cowley, Joseph’s experience on stage has taken him over a variety of roles from Opera and Theatre, including productions of La Traviata (2016) and Madame Butterfly (2016) by Opera Projects, (Independent Theatre, North Sydney) alongside notable principles for Opera Australia, such as John Bolton-Wood, Simon Kim and Catherine Bouchier. Other productions include independent productions of, The Phantom of the Opera (2014) and Beauty and the Beast (2015). Graduating with a Bachelor of Music (Creative Practice) from UNSW in 2017, Joseph’s vocal education also includes a Cert. of Performance and a Dip. AmusA in Classical Singing.
Passionate about all things music, Joseph has been an avid composer. His recently written musical, ‘EVA,” has incurred interest from several notable musicians. His performance experience spans many aspects of the music industry from Festivals, Corporate and Private events, Wedding ceremonies and receptions. In May 2018, Joseph will be performing the role of Lacouf from Poulenc’s “Les mamelles de Tiresias.”
