Eilin O’Dea is an Irish classically trained Actress/Soprano, graduating from the prestigious LIR Academy, Trinity College, Dublin. Eilin studied voice at the Conservatory of Music, DIT, Dublin and continues her studies in New York with Jack Livigni. As a theatre actress Eilin has performed throughout Europe to critical acclaim. Best known for her vivid interpretations of the works of James Joyce, Eilin has recently performed the title role in Jean Anouilh’s Antigone as well as Inez in Jean-Paul Sartre’s No Exit, in off Broadway productions. Recent performances as a Soprano have included scenes from Suor Angelica as well as Amelia from Un Ballo in Maschera with NY Dramatic voices, directed by Anthony Laciura , Eilin sang the role of Tosca last year with MOSF, Conducted by Maestro Kamal Khan and is thrilled to perform the title role in Madama Butterfly this year at MOSF. As a concert performer Eilin has been honored to perform at the Mansion House, Dublin, St.George’s Concert Hall , UK and St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin.
