My name is Cameron Normand. I am 24 years old and am currently working on my MA in Double bass performance at Louisiana State University. I received my BA in performance from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. My work up to the present consists of performing with university and regional orchestras, such as playing principle bass in both NSU and LSU orchestras as well as section member of the South Arkansas Symphony. Notable accomplishments include being first prize winner of the Louisiana Double Bass Festival Young Artists Solo Competition.
