Ariana Krudwig, soprano, is at home in both contemporary opera and traditional Verdi, Puccini, and Mozart works. Recent performances include scenes as Leonora in “La Forza del Destino” and Alice Ford in “Falstaff” at the San Miguel Institute of Bel Canto. Other recent highlights include performances with Centennial Ballet in Carmina Burana and local performances with Boulder Opera. Ariana has enjoyed working with contemporary composers such as Libby Larsen on creating new operas in the CU NOW program. Ariana graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2014, where she performed as Musetta in “La Boheme” and won first place three years in a row at the regional National Teachers of Singing Competition, as well as the Anderson Scholarship Competition. She is a current student of Carol Kirkpatrick and lives in Boulder, Colorado. She is excited to sing Donna Elvira at MOSF this summer!
